Symphony Center in the spotlight
The Atlanta chapter of the American Institute of Architects featured the Atlanta Symphony Center in its Museum of Design-Atlanta exhibit Resurgens, which ran April-June 2006. The exhibit examined how Symphony Center and five other architectural projects are shaping or poised to shape the Atlanta scene and skyline and how the could reinvent the way we live, work and play. Visited by thousands, the Symphony Center exhibit features architectural models, digital video “fly-throughs” of the project and architect Santiago Calatrava’s original sketchbooks reflecting the inception and progress of his design for Symphony Center.
