A new venue is coming to Atlanta this summer and we invite you to join the excitement! VERIZON WIRELESS AMPHITHEATRE AT ENCORE PARK is opening in May 2008. Nestled on 45 acres of wooded land, this 12,000 seat modern outdoor venue is just minutes from 400 in Alpharetta GA. The all new Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre at Encore Park will have the biggest variety of entertainment including Rock, Top 40, Country, and Urban, as well as premier performances from the Grammy award winning Atlanta Symphony Orchestra.
Venue highlights include a $1 million landscaping project to maintain the park-like atmosphere
- 1,200 trees throughout the venue including mature hardwood trees on the lawn
- approximately 40 flat screen televisions in the plazas
- an exclusive VIP area
- projection screens near the stage
- two story bathrooms
- upscale concessions including traditional BBQ, Mexican, wings, a variety of sandwiches and burgers and chicken tenders.
